Return to Monday, Decemeber 27th

We started the day with a Einstein Brothers Bagels breakfast (say THAT ten times fast!) a stroll around the shops, a coffee in the sunny window seat in the room, photos in the grand lobby, and a failed attempt to visit a little art gallery in Ladue.

So, it was another fine day for ice skating! Though it was a mere 28 degrees, the sunshine and lack of wind brought more people out to the rink in Forest Park. When we finished skating at 3:00 we were hungry for Fazoli's on our drive home.

What a lovely holiday treat to have a getaway as a family. We all enjoyed it much.

After a mind-altering romp with my lover, I had this dream of sledding down a snowy slope in the bluish light of dusk. I returned to the hill the next day to find the Lunar Lander, larger than life with all its bells and whistles, its golden metallic foil and rounded feet firmly planted atop this snowy hill. It was a treasurous find, but in my dream it soon became an attraction to reporters and buses filled with school children and celebrities like Leo DiCaprio! What can it all mean!?! :)
