This turned out to be a "transition day" from busy class schedules to a bit of free time at home.
The weather is quite different today, not the single digit sunshine of yesterday. Today the sky was white and the earth below it gray. I dislike this glum weather, especially at Christmas time. It can make me feel isolated and hapless. The world just doesn't look as beautiful in this unflattering light...
